Responsibilities:
•Perform and/or control work (Routine & Urgent) in accordance with the workload, manpower, costs, time and comply with the plant's EH&S requirements.
•Receive a job list from Planner to plan your daily work and control operations to be completed according to schedule.
•Fill out the Work Permit form completely and correctly for the engineer to sign and use to open the Work Permit with the plant.
•Inspect and/or provide inspection recommendations machine/equipment condition according to the inspection work instruction or the supervisor's advice.
•Summarize inspection results by comparing with specified values and/or measurement history including evaluate and analyze preliminary machine/equipment condition (consult with engineer as necessary) including summarizing the inspection results into SAP system.
•For abnormal machine/equipment, follow up and/or coordinate with maintenance closely as specified by the Engineer and according to the plan the Planner has laid out.
•Receive knowledge and experience in inspection work from Engineer and transfer relevant parts to subordinates.
•Control the daily contractor to perform work according to the specified scope of work.
•Strictly follow the requirements and/or instructions of the plant and supervisor regarding EH&S.
•Duties of a safety officer at the supervisory level that must be practiced
•Supervise and supervise employees in responsible departments to comply with rules, regulations, orders, or safety measures at work.
•Teach correct work methods to employees in responsible departments to ensure safety in work.
•Check working conditions, machines, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in a safe condition before performing daily tasks.
•Check to find the cause of the danger, illness or the occurrence of a nuisance due to the work of an employee, work with a safety officer at the basic or professional level and report the results including recommendations to the employer to urgently prevent the occurrence.
•Promote and support occupational safety activities.
•Perform work safety tasks as assigned by the management level work safety officer.
•Perform safety, environmental, and energy work according to the company’s policies, rules and regulations, and legal requirements.
•Participate in productivity improvement activities according to the company's policies.
•Perform other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrument / Automation / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2 - 6 years of experience in performing NDT and inspections in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Proven experience with various NDT methods and equipment.
Basic English communication and teamwork abilities.
