DUTIES: • Provide active day-to-day leadership, work direction and support for a manufacturing team within a production area. • Promote safety culture and ensure team’s compliance with safety rules and procedures, such as: PPE compliance, accident investigation within 24 hours, Safety Contacts and safe start participation. • Review Weekly Production Plan and communicate to production leader weekly shift arrangement and related overtime plan. Responsible for Weekly Plan achievement performance. • Supervise day to day manufacturing department operation. Coordinate and support Team Leaders. Review daily plan and output with team leaders. • Manage the warehousing function and internal stock control processes with support from Finance and Production Planning. • Ensure that inventory transactions are carried out correctly in the workshop, warehouse and ERP system. • Supervise and carry out bi-annual stocktakes; investigate discrepancies and carry out corrective actions. • Monitor daily output, root cause analysis of Work Orders variance and corrective actions. • Oversee the daily start-up of production area. Ensure workstations and working positions are properly staffed and manage staffing throughout the day. • Participate in meetings to review department issues. Assist in prioritizing and assigning ownership for open items in assigned production area. Facilitate delegation of issues to appropriate level. Track items to closure and ensure follow-up with key stakeholders. • Ensure directive and action set by operation manager are implemented and followed up by Team Leader. • Ensure that QMS process & procedure, Lean manufacturing practices and Escalation Process set forth is followed. Ensure 5S standards are met for the area. • Ensure process stability through following standardized work. Coach and develop Team Leaders and team members to ensure standardized work is in place and is followed. • Ensure maintenance processes and procedures for building, equipment and tooling are followed and prioritise work for these functions. • Ensure AIC rules and policies are followed by employee and partner with HR to carry out disciplinary investigation and action as appropriate. • Monitor scrap data/reports to drive resolution of non-conformance/scrap issues and drive projects to prevent future non-conformance. • Prepare a quarterly report outlining production performance, issues and updates for improvement projects in progress or planned. • Contribute to development of annual manufacturing budget and quarterly forecast reviews. • Manage expenditure relevant to production in line with set budget targets. PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor Degree in Technical Discipline preferred. • Experience in production supervision. • Experience in Administration of factory. • Understanding of EHS regulations. • Understand of Vietnam Labour Regulations • Experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (Odoo preferred). OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Able to supervise, prioritise, delegate & co-ordinate work. • Able to work unsupervised within a team environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Able to handle difficult personnel issues in a mature and professional manner
