Location: Ha Noi
Responsibilities:
- Ensure pricing & reimbursement/access strategy development and implementation for new products as well as maintenance and optimizing tender & reimbursement/funding strategies for existing products.
- Establish key strategic partnerships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), societies, policy-makers, payers and other stakeholders to enable access and shaping the market environment in China
- Proactively monitor and shape access/reimbursement/funding/pricing/ tenders guidelines related policies.
- Partners with all cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities and resourcing for business objectives across all portfolios
- Timely provide input to global and regional cross-functional teams for new product introduction based on local pricing, tender and reimbursement/funding needs.
- Provide input into evidence generation strategy for new product development and identify local opportunities for local evidence generation if relevant.
- Accountable for budget and operating expense management
- Responsible for training and educating the organization to enhance its capabilities in the principles of Market Access, business acquisition, payer strategy and policy shaping
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8+ years of healthcare industry experience (diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical), with high customer interaction and market access & pricing experience
- Solid understanding of Healthcare market access & NGOs operation globally and locally, the internal and external policies and environment in Vietnam
- Any exposure to MOH, regulatory bodies, public health policy drivers is not mandatory but will be a plus
- Proven ability to think big and develop growth plans with clear KPIs and tracking mechanisms
- Familiarity and relationships with NGO, Medical facilities, association.
- Self-driven with an ability to effectively work as an individual contributor
- Ability to develop strong business relationships
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Track record in achieving successful reimbursement, tenders and hospital listings in tier 1, 2 and 3 in Vietnam
- Significant experience dealing with the relevant health authorities such as Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Ministry of Health, NGOs and payers, etc.
- Knowledge of evidence requirements that impact adoption, pricing, reimbursement and market access
- Experience in planning and executing health economic and outcomes research studies from concept through publication including management of research vendors or consultants is preferred
- Ability to communicate the complexities of Market Access to your internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams
- Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in complex matrix environments
- Proven ability to understand business strategy; translate it into health economics & access solutions that support the company’s business goals
- Ability to work with minimal supervision from strategy development through to execution and value creation in a dynamic organization
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization and with external customers
- Ability to manage multiple demands, with a systematic approach to prioritization and organization of resources
- Strong track-record of timely and high-quality project delivery
- Effective in regulated environment: maintaining compliance while achieving commercial goals
- Experience of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment
