• To perform maintenance, repair, inspection, troubleshooting and plant modification on Mechanical systems in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure MKW facilities are available to meet production targets;
• To organize, inspect and follow up the activities of contractors performed on the site;
• To provide support and assistance to Operations team as required.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Monitor performance of wind turbines and make sure planned maintenance for wind turbines are performed properly by contractors;
• Execute preventive and corrective, periodic and non-periodic maintenance tasks;
• Execute periodic tests and inspections on plant systems either imposed by legislation or to prove equipment reliability and availability;
• Discuss with the Maintenance Manager in advance for any works that required by the other teams;
• Take full charge of the assigned on-call duty schedule;
• Keep the working environment in the way of clean and tidy;
• Use the warehouse inventory system for retrieval of consumables and spare parts;
• Advise the Maintenance Manager on the purchase of spare parts and consumables;
• Perform administrative work for recording maintenance activities, log-books, maintenance records, inspection checklists and the permit to work system;
• Advice corrections to the maintenance procedures based on the experience acquired;
• Keep the maintenance files in an up to date condition;
• Make suggestions for improvement of the installations;
• Report malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager and operations personnel;
• Assist and advise the Maintenance Manager in the execution of preventive maintenance programs;
• Perform all maintenance tasks according to the safety procedures;
• Monitor the activities of the contractors concerning safety aspects. (Working method, use of inspected and authorized equipment, working according to the permit to work system…);
• Monitor the safety condition of fixed and portable tools and reports deviations and defects;
• Give first aid assistance when necessary;
• During the execution of all maintenance tasks, he will handle products and chemicals with respect to environmental legislation.
• Any other tasks/ projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Knowledge Required

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles in power plants

Broad knowledge of power plant technologies, operations, and emergency procedures

Familiarity with maintenance planning, scheduling, and plant safety standards

Knowledge of legal, EHS, and regulatory requirements

Basic understanding of finance and inventory cost impacts

Proficient in English (reading/writing) and basic mathematics (algebra, statistics, etc.)
