Overview
The Member & Events Manager curates outstanding events and engagement initiatives across all locations to create a dynamic, personalised experience for members.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Lead the membership team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Manage the events team to plan, execute and deliver all events.
  • Provide guidance, training and support to team members to enhance performance and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, working closely with other departments as appropriate and holding regular meetings to train and feedback on members.
Member Engagement and Retention
  • Nurture strong relationships to drive membership. Engaging with existing members to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement initiatives to engage members, organising member meetings and events that will add value to their membership.
  • Act as a liaison between the club and members, addressing any feedback in a professional manner.
  • Attend club events to engage with members and their guests, building strong relationships.
Events Development and Management
  • Develop and execute a diverse calendar of member events that is engaging and aligned with member interests, exceeding member expectations every time.
  • Manage member invite lists, welcoming members to each event, following up accordingly.
  • Manage and respond to any private event enquiries, working with the operational team to execute as appropriate ensuring they are always on brand.
  • Initiate and nurture relationships for new and existing partnerships and sponsorships to enhance the member offer.
CRM, Analytics and Reporting
  • Work alongside the CRM & Marketing Manager to ensure that the CRM and data are kept up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Ensure the CRM and App allow for a seamless process from application to onboarding, integrating with other departments and systems.
  • Constantly build on member data to enable detailed reporting and analysis, allowing all departments to deliver member service of the highest level.
Cross Function Collaboration
  • Work closely with the operations, reception and reservations teams to ensure cohesive communication, introduction of members and awareness of the cultural programme.
  • Support the marketing team with information to communicate with the members relevant news and upcoming events.
  • Ensure that all branding and collateral is in line with the clubs’ key message.
Skills and Experience Required
  • 5+ years’ experience in luxury event management, hospitality or membership services.
  • Strong leadership skills with a strategic approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry knowledge, remaining at the forefront of the social and cultural calendar locally and internationally.
  • General computer proficiency required, including the ability to navigate software applications
