Roles & Responsibilities:
• Managing the operations with factory management team to ensure that the objectives of the organization are achieved in terms of Capacity /production, quality, and delivery.
• Overseeing all activities of the planning function, coordinating between FGL front end & internal factory’s team / sub-contractors (printing / washing & embroidery) etc. ensuring that plant capacities are fully utilized at the agreed performance levels/ efficiency.
• Risk analysis involved for each style / buyer from development stage with sample room & prd. to have preventive action in the bulk.
• Attending capacity planning meetings; discussing with the team; identifying/ analyzing/ resolving all planning and loading related problems; communicating/ coordinating with relevant departments (in FGL & factories) and applying the best solutions to devise the most precise and practical production plans as per agreed efficiency.
• Coordinating and following-up with relevant Departments in FGL HO as Outsourcing /Merchandising and Commercial on all issues pertaining to the delivery of scheduled materials to ensure that they are in-housed as scheduled.
• Conducting meetings to identify the failures of quality and rejects, subsequently reworking and applying the effective use of problem solving tools and techniques to eliminate the root cause of problems.
• Ensuring that key KPIs (Cut to ship, order to ship/ first inspection pass rate & PCD/ DIFOT) are closely follow up and driving team to achieve them by providing solutions if any challenge arise.
• Being Fashion Garments representative in factories for decision making / solution and orientation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Garment Technology, Industrial Management, or related fields
• 10 years+ working experience with a foreign owned apparel product company with similar position
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing process, customers requirement and logistics
• Excellent communication skills, MS Office skills
• Negotiation skills, Analytical skills, Leadership skills, Problem-solving skills, Decision making skills
• Integrity, Accuracy and attention to detail
