The duties listed below are intended only as examples of the various types of work that you may be asked to perform. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this class.  You may be asked to perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

  1. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in production.
  2. Create and review process routings to support new product quotes, cost models, and process improvement initiatives.
  3. Analyze process capability and yield data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  4. Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and visual aids to ensure consistency in manufacturing practices.
  5. Lead trials and qualifications for new materials, equipment, and processes, ensuring successful integration into production.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Quality, Test, and Design Engineering—to support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and NPI (New Product Introduction).
  7. Support cost-reduction and productivity improvement projects through process redesign, automation, and layout optimization.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all process-related activities.
  9. Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot process-related issues, and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned areas.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, validations, and performance metrics in accordance with internal and customer requirements.
