- Our client, a global e-commerce company, is looking for a Chinese-speaking Procurement Supervisor in Cambodia. 1. Implementation of Local Product Procurement
- Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the implementation of local product procurement processes and standards.
- Participate in the evaluation and optimization of global product portfolio strategies to ensure product
- diversity, abundance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the supply situations in overseas markets; develop and maintain long-term cooperative relationships with local partners who possess commodity resources.
- Evaluate, audit, and certify partners to ensure reliability, quality, and fulfillment capabilities; select high-quality partners that meet the company's requirements.
- Monitor the entire execution process to ensure deliveries are completed according to contractual requirements; promptly address and resolve issues arising during procurement execution.
- Coordinate with merchants on inventory preparation; optimize management processes to improve product supply efficiency and merchants' fulfillment efficiency.
- In line with cost optimization objectives, closely monitor upstream and downstream dynamics to ensure continuous and effective control over procurement costs.
- Train team members to enhance their understanding of the local supply market and procurement execution capabilities, forming an efficient and professional local operations team.
- Stay informed about industry policies, regulations, and requirements in relevant overseas countries; evaluate and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular market research to gain a deep understanding of the latest market trends.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement or product management. Experience in the local markets of relevant Southeast Asian countries is preferred.
- Familiarity with the industrial environment of relevant Southeast Asian countries. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Proficient in Chinese and another language spoken in Southeast Asian countries. Excellent bilingual communication abilities. Ability to smoothly conduct business negotiations.
- Strong organizational skills, team spirit, and leadership abilities. Able to withstand significant work pressure.
