About the Role:
  • Our client, a global e-commerce company, is looking for a Chinese-speaking Procurement Supervisor in Long An. This position provides an excellent chance to join a vibrant team, concentrating on sourcing and overseeing local procurement, streamlining supply chains, and establishing strong supplier relationships.
Job Responsibilities: 
1.    Local Product Procurement Implementation 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement local procurement processes and standards. 
  • Contribute to the assessment and enhancement of global product strategies to improve product variety, diversity, and cost efficiency. 
2.    Local Market Management 
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of supply conditions in international markets and build and maintain long-term relationships with local suppliers and commodity partners. 
  • Assess, audit, and certify partners to ensure they meet standards for reliability, quality, and delivery capability, selecting high-quality suppliers that align with company needs. 
3.    Process Oversight 
  • Manage the entire procurement process to guarantee on-time and accurate deliveries as per contract requirements, resolving any issues that arise during execution. 
  • Collaborate with suppliers on inventory planning and optimize management workflows to enhance supply chain efficiency and supplier performance. 
  • Monitor supply chain activities closely to meet cost optimization targets and maintain effective control over procurement costs. 
4.    Team Leadership and Development 
  • Mentor team members to improve their understanding of local supply markets and strengthen their procurement execution abilities, building a skilled and efficient local operations team. 
5.    Market and Regulatory Analysis 
  • Keep informed about industry regulations, policies, and requirements in international markets to evaluate and manage potential risks. 
  • Perform regular market analysis to stay ahead of emerging market trends. 
 
Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or product management, with a preference for candidates experienced in Southeast Asian markets. 
  • In-depth understanding of Southeast Asia market, along with excellent negotiation, analytical, and data interpretation abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Chinese, with outstanding bilingual communication skills for effective business negotiations. 
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure.
