I. PRIMARY DUTIES:
❖ Fabric Supplier Management:

  • Manage supplier for the developments of the fabric ‘s range in Woven Natural/Blended Fabric
  • Responsible for Fabric Supplier Management in Human, Quality & Environment assessment
  • Strong technical know-how to communicate with supplier
  • Ensure the fabric developed on time with right quality
  • Ensure color are developed for each season (lab-dip, first bulk etc…).

❖ Production quality controlling:

  • Follow closely the testing & inspecting procedure + result of that fabrics meet company technical specifications & requirements
  • Assist the supplier with Continuous Improvement

❖ Pricing & Costing

  • Price negotiation twice a year
  • Cost analysis


II. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Must: Fluent English (4 skills, to work with regional stakeholders) & Vietnamese
  • A Must: Can go frequent weekly business trips (South provinces of Vietnam), and occasional overseas business trips
  • University degree
  • At least 5 years of experience with the Woven products, previous scope as Fabric Technologist/Merchandiser/Developer or used to work for a woven fabric mill will be a plus
  • Technical knowhow in Woven Natural/Blended Fabric and always willing to learn
  • Strong communication to build & maintain business relationships with supplier, and at the same time, effectively instruct & manage them to reach the Woven products with right schedule, right quality
  • Good at problem solving, conflict and crisis management
  • Hard-working, proactive, eager to grow, passionate & professional with open mindset
  • Good time management, can work independently, respect the deadlines
  • Teamwork spirit & transparent working attitude & approach
  • Additional foreign languages such as Chinese will be a plus
III. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Working location: HCMC office based (2 days/week) + South provinces travel (3 days/week)
  • Working time: Mon-Fri (and flexible working hours)
