Manpower’s Client - a Vietnam Representative Office of a US-based company specializing in tailor-made furniture solutions for hospitality and commercial projects worldwide, is currently seeking a Project Costing Engineer to join their team in Vietnam.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive pricing requests from the manager and initiate cost analysis.
- Review and interpret furniture drawings of hospitality projects to calculate the required quantities of raw materials for each project.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team and Project Managers to gather Bill of Materials (BOM) data and compile accurate costing sheets.
- Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and submit it to Project Managers for review and subsequent submission to the customer.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in costing engineer for hospitality furniture projects.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting CAD drawings for cost estimation purposes.
- Solid command of English, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow.
- Capable of working independently and performing well under high-pressure situations.
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
- Standard working schedule: Monday to Friday. Working on Saturdays may be required for peak season (up to 6 months/year).
