About the Role:
As a Project Manager (Fit-out Building), you will oversee the execution of fit-out projects, ensuring that all construction, installation, and design meet the needs of clients. This role will involve managing the entire fit-out process within large office buildings, from vendor management to overseeing M&E and HSE compliance. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects at a time, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
You will work closely with vendors, coordinate with internal teams, and act as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities. Your role will also involve handling administrative tasks and supporting the Country Manager in leading the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the fit-out construction and installation phases of projects for office spaces, including additional build-outs and adjustments to meet clients' needs.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with existing vendors, ensuring compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations, and project timelines.
- Construction Supervision: Ensure that M&E and HSE requirements are met across all project phases, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the work site.
- Coordination and Reporting: Collaborate with the team to ensure proper execution of fit-out projects, prepare regular reports, and update clients on project progress.
- Team Collaboration: Work with a dedicated team of project managers, senior managers, and technical staff, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in project management for fit-out buildings, preferably in office spaces, M&E, or HSE. Experience in managing office setups or IT requirements based on customer needs is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing a team, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with vendor management, project management tools, and construction processes, especially in the fit-out phase.
- Project Ownership: Experience in being in charge of a specific building or multiple sites, with the ability to take ownership and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
