- The Project Manager (QLDA) leads large-scale engineering and construction projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery while maintaining quality and safety. Based in Vung Tau, this role focuses on team coordination, stakeholder management, and strategic planning in the Oil & Gas and construction sectors.
- Develop plans to ensure quality, safety, resource allocation, cost estimation, and project schedules. Identify tasks for internal execution and propose subcontracting partnerships.
- Assign tasks, manage communication, and coordinate work among project team members and stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues effectively.
- Establish project management systems to ensure progress, efficiency, and compliance with project standards.
- Oversee technical evaluations to ensure project feasibility, safety, and efficiency during implementation.
- Efficiently manage resources (personnel, equipment) for the project.
- Create reporting mechanisms and organize regular meetings per project and management requirements.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets.
- Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities to prevent project delays.
- Change management: Plan and address changes to ensure project progress and quality.
- Handle project documentation: Collect data, maintain records, and prepare reports on project status. Encourage timely submission of handover documentation and post-project material/equipment reports.
- Plan and organize relationship-building events with clients, partners, and project team members.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Construction, Oil & Gas Equipment, Electrical, Automation, or related fields); additional training in Project Management or Business Administration is a plus.
- 7–10 years in engineering roles in Oil & Gas, Construction, or Installation.
- 2–3 years in Project Management for onshore pipeline or similar projects.
- Experience working with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of bidding processes, technical standards, and resource mobilization.
- Strong leadership, planning, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in English and project management tools.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Certifications (Level 1 or 2) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexibly as required
