Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consulting and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, contract administration, and a deep understanding of MEP systems.
Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying:
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for MEP projects.
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess and manage project costs throughout the lifecycle.

Contract Administration:
- Administer and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Monitor contract performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and costs, providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
- Evaluate variations and claims, working to minimize financial risks and maximize profitability.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Generate regular reports on project financials, contract status, and potential risks.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying and contract administration within the MEP industry.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and contract requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software tools, including but not limited to Excel, AutoCAD, and project management software.
