Responsibility
- Business Operations Migration
- Collaborate with related people to achieve Business Operations Migration in a timely manner.
- Flexible in travelling to conduct new site qualifications & on-going on-site technical/Quality Engineering support of Company ODMs/AVLs. Support includes successfully bringing up of factory overall process control and product quality/reliability, trainings for new CQA/E.
- Software Aspect Preferred
- Preferred to have some software background. Experience in software programming languages will be an added advantage (such as Python, Java, C++, PHP, SQL, etc.)
- Act as software gatekeeper to ensure factory testing programs, product software release, SQA, DVT process is correctly done per established procedures.
- Early engagement with related department, people in the verification of product FW released.
- Drives ODM to develop & optimize more robust test program, ensure the GUI & pop out window (information) can be easily understood by the operators.
- Cross-functional collaboration with people from Software RD, test engineering to implement software reliability test.
- NPI FAI Support
- Achieves NPI FAI requirements (Test Plan, Test Program review, Manufacturing GateKeeping) & ensures quality products are released per plan.
- Factory Continuous Improvement
- Knowledgeable in 6 Sigma Quality; Engages related departments in Process Capability improvement; real time SPC implementation and QMS improvement.
- Work with ODM to cultivate Continuous Improvement Culture to achieve QA Key Objectives such as FPY, OOBA and other key goals.
- Distribution Center & RMA Center
- Drives ODMs to achieve Company RMA FFR goal.
- Manages FA, Corrective Actions & implementation status. Provides Customer Supports in terms of solving product quality and or reliability related issues. Co-work with ODM, AVL and other department to ensure all Customer Complaints are resolved timely.
- Manages SCAR process
- Minimize or eradicate repeat SCAR.
- Manages AVL factory quality
- Key AVLs such as eCap, Printers, Cable, Antenna, and Power Adaptors.
- Conducts periodical audits, manages the AVL’s product & process quality.
- Quality Reports/Score Cards
- Draft QBR, MRM, RMA etc reports for key business reviews.
- Bachelor degree in Electric / Information engineering or Computer science.
- 5 years of experience or above; candidates with more experience will be considered with senior title or staff title.
- Good knowledge of NPI, SCAR, PCBA, FPY, OOBA, ORT and 6 sigma.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good English skills in listening, speaking and presenting. Chinese is preferred.
- Ability of driving RMA/filing failure analysis to logical conclusion
- Strong leadership to drive ODM continuous improvement
- Process ownership and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Working experience in ODM or PA engineering is preferred.
- Work location: Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Phong. Business travel is required.
