- Manage the inspection program & perform the pre-shipment inspection at the company’s suppliers. Assess the product’s conformance to specifications. Document inspection results in writing, with appropriate photographs. Communicate results to manager & supplier as requirement.
- Audit factory QA records to collect data related to product manufacturing, support production test plan requirements, or collect data to support a problem-solving team.
- Executes the factory line audits and recommends CARs for improvements.
- Lead structured problem-solving teams to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective action in response to supplier quality issues.
- Support the commercialization of new products in supplier factories. Identify product quality risks throughout the product development process and communicate to the product development team.
- Onsite review of Quality/Ethical GAPs as an assignment
- Determine the compliance of raw materials, work-in-process, and/or finished goods to established component/product specifications/standard procedures.
- A B.S. degree in a technical discipline is required; an Engineering discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years’ experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of statistical methods is preferred.
- Ability to interpret product specifications and drawings.
- Good written, oral, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Be able to communicate in Chinese is required; English is preferred.
