Job Summary:
We are a leading company in the plastic manufacturing industry, committed to delivering high-quality, innovative plastic products. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at our Vietnam factory to oversee all aspects of product quality and assurance.

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes within the factory meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves overseeing the quality control team, implementing quality systems, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvements to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS)
:

Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with industry standards and customer requirements.
Regularly review and update QMS documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure all employees are trained on quality standards and procedures

Product Quality Assurance:
Monitor and enforce product quality standards across all stages of the production process.
Ensure that products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain quality control plans for each product line and process.
Conduct inspections, testing, and analysis to verify product quality.

Team Management & Leadership:
Lead, train, and mentor the quality control team, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet performance targets.
Set performance goals for quality personnel and conduct regular performance reviews.

Inspection & Testing:
Ensure proper testing and inspection procedures are in place, covering raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
Establish and oversee the calibration of testing equipment and tools to ensure accuracy.
Lead root cause analysis for quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Supplier Quality Management:

Work closely with the procurement team to assess and monitor supplier quality performance.
Conduct supplier audits and assess the quality of incoming materials, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier quality, where necessary.

Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that all production activities comply with local, regional, and international quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO 9001, industry-specific standards).
Maintain thorough and accurate quality records, including test results, inspections, audits, and certifications.
Prepare and submit quality reports to senior management, including analysis of quality trends, issues, and actions taken.

Continuous Improvement:

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve production efficiency.
Implement Lean Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies to drive performance enhancements.
Conduct periodic audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Customer & Internal Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with customers.
Resolve customer complaints related to product quality, working closely with the production and engineering teams.
Report quality performance metrics to senior management and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Quality Auditor) are a plus.
Minimum 10 years-experienced in Quality Control / Quality Assurance and 5 years of experience in Quality Management
Plastic manufacturing industry and/or used to work with Japanese Management will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards.
Experience managing and leading quality teams in a fast-paced environment.
In-depth understanding of quality management systems (QMS), statistical process control (SPC), and quality assurance processes.
Proficient in Data Analysis and Root Cause Analysis Techniques (e.g., 8D, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, any tools).
Good command of English in written and spoken
Able to start immediately will be a plus
