ABOUT THE POSITION: Reporting to the Global Director of Infrastructure & Network, the Regional IT Manager will be responsible for all the infrastructure (Network, System), Security and Business Application related items within the specific region assigned. This will include managing a small team of desktop, network and/or server engineers within the region. This individual will play a vital role in leading the region's technology. The position will be a working manager that performs hands-on duties as well as management tasks.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional IT Manager will be responsible for all the infrastructure (Network, System), Security and Business Application related items within the specific region assigned upholding the company’s technology standards and direction. This will align IT strategy with Global IT goals, ensure compliance and security, lead and develop the local IT team, drive digital transformation, manage efficient IT operations, and collaborate on global/local projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team Management & IT Operation
● Lead the local IT team, ensuring high-performance service delivery and operational excellence.
● Supervise day-to-day IT Infrastructure, Security and Business Application operations
● Establish proactive communication with Global/ Local business leadership and other IT teams to foster a collaborative environment.
● Provides Tier 3 and lead manager support for all assigned support desk incident requests following the ITIL framework for service management within the region.
Strategic IT Management
● Develop and drive the local IT strategy, ensuring alignment with both local factory management strategies and Global IT expectations.
● Act as a key IT advisor to the factory business leadership, contributing to business strategy discussions and identifying technology-driven growth opportunities.
Global & Local Project Implementation
● Lead, collaborate on, or implement regional and Global IT projects in Vietnam, ensuring they align with overall Global IT and local’s goals.
●Ensure the successful Project Implementation.
Security, Governance, and Compliance
● Collaborate with Global Security teams to maintain awareness and monitor security risks, implementing measures to mitigate potential threats/risks.
● Ensure full compliance with both internal company policies and external industrial standards, including ISO 27001 and CTPAT.
● Implement and maintain IT governance frameworks, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.
Business Application & Digital transformation
● Maintain strong relationships with local management, ensuring IT Business Application/solutions align with and support factory objectives.
● Actively participate in business strategy development and work cross-functional Global/local team to deliver integrated solutions/innovation.
Budgeting & Resource Management
● Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency while delivering high-value IT services.
Monitor spending to align with financial goals and IT strategy.
Additional Responsibilities
● Execute any other duties assigned by the Global Director of Infrastructure & Network.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Experience
● Previous working experience as an IT Manager for 5 years or more
● In depth knowledge of Infrastructure, Security and Business Application (ERP, MES, HRMS)
● Hands on experience with Infrastructure and Security: Azure cloud technology (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure Storage, M365); VMWare, Cisco Meraki (MX/MS/MR), Ticket Management, Dell/Fujitsu/HP server, Veam; SentinalOne, NinjaOne
● Hands-on experience on ERP/ SAP S/4HANA Publish Cloud modules such as FICO, MM, PP, QM, SD, PM… ● Experience in the manufacturing environment would be an advantage: BOM management, Production Plan, Production and Quality Management, MRP…
● Knowledge of MES: SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC) or Siemens OpsCenter or Rockwell FactoryTalk or others
● Knowledge of integration tools and protocols (e.g., APIs, REST…) to connect MES with IoT devices, PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation system
● Vendor management experience
