The research associate will do due diligence work about companies in Asia. 
• Performing desktop research on companies & industries by utilizing publicly available and internal resources.
• Translating documents and assisting investment professionals in communicating with local management teams & industry experts.
• Gathering insights on investment opportunities and portfolio companies. Taking detailed and meticulous notes will be a critical part of the role.
• Conducting primary reference call interviews with industry experts, former company executives, competitors, and supply chain participants.
• Communicating with third-party vendors to select industry experts and setup 
reference calls/meetings

Requirement:
• Advanced Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher).
• Advanced English
• Highly organized, diligent and personable. Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office & Excel.
