Responsibilities:
- Support the HSSE Manager in developing, implementing and monitoring facility
- security policy and procedures. This includes physical security as well as IT related security risks.
- Work with local and national agencies to ensure all governmental requirements are met.
- Monitor the Security Contractor and staff performance and review invoices to ensure correctness with the contract terms.
- Verify contracted security personnel are qualified for their respective positions.
- Make recommendations for the improvement of security related communication, monitoring and detection systems and programs.
- Continuously interact with governmental agencies to understand security risks and identify mitigation steps and to develop procedures for agency support, if required.
- Coordinate with other facility department managers to identify security issues and to develop any required adjustment to policy.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and as required by the HSSE Manager.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security training and budgets.
- Train, support, and supervise the manpower of Security Teams.
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent security field experience.
- At least 3 years’ experience working at the security supervisory level and at least 7 years in the security field. Experience working in an industrial environment is desired.
- Good command of communications skills in English (written and verbal) and be computer literate.
