To assist the Chief accountant as required to achieve a high level of data accuracy and high standards of internal controls in company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Trade Account Payable • Perform checking; verify the validity and eligibility of invoices and supporting documents when posting AP to make sure it complies with all relevant regulation, laws and reporting requirements. • Enter and upload invoices into system; • Reconcile accounts payable transactions; 2. Taxes ✓ Value added Tax • Prepare dossier, supporting document for VAT refund process in timely manner and high efficiency within specific deadlines; • To maintain the accuracy of VAT transactions in the SAP systems; • Regular reconciliation of the VAT control accounts and records; • Perform checking, preparing and filing the periodically VAT declaration report; • To assist Chief Accountant to work with taxes audit. ✓Corporate Tax • Assist Chief accountant to perform reviewing of non-eligible expenses quarterly; • To assist Chief accountant to deal with taxes auditors. 3. Other accounting tasks • Supervise Fixed asset Management • Screen monthly mass payment invoices list to ensure beneficiaries and amount to be paid to vendors are proper; • Review and post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records; • Perform accounts reconciliation monthly per check list given; • Review economic contractual terms (Vietnamese language) during Manager's absence before submission to General manager for signature; • Assist Chief Accountant to improve document and improve internal control processes; • Carry out tasks as assigned by Chief accountant related to internal controls, risk management, and management reporting. • Prepare periodically report to State Bank and other authorities; • Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules; • Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas colleagues to help them understand and manage their financial; • Reconcile accounts per list assigned from time to time; • Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles. • Others that may requested by line manager from time to time. • Maintain the accuracy of vendor information and SIR in Gentherm’s system; • Assist Chief Accountant to improve document and improve internal control processes; • Carry out tasks as assigned by Chief accountant related to internal controls, risk management, and management reporting; • Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules; • Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas colleagues to help them understand and manage their financial; • Reconcile accounts per list assigned from time to time; • Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles. • Others that may requested by line manager from time to time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: At least 10 years in finance related job, of which 3 years at least in Non EPE FDI manufacturing field and in position of General accountant. Education: University Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting/Finance Competencies: • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel • Proficient in use of Microsoft Power Point • Expert in use of SAP FI/CO modules • Proficient in Lean Basic • Proficient in English (listening, speaking, writing) • Good knowledge about local laws and regulation • Analytical skills: able to analyze data and information from different areas of the business and come up with a summarized conclusion and argument. • Time Management: able to prioritize tasks and allocate time appropriately. • Presentation Skills: able to deliver public speeches to top management with confidence and clarity. • Teamwork skills: able to work in a team and in harmony with all team members but at the same time confident of own skills and opinions
