JOB DESCRIPTION
The Purchasing Officer is responsible for procuring essential fty materials necessary for the fty material. They source evaluate, negotiate and acquisition of goods....in local and oversea while maintaining quality standards and cost-efficiency. The role involves building and managing relationships with vendors, monitoring deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and providing valuable insights through detailed reports.

Job Responsibilities:
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality merchandise and on-time deliveries.
• Evaluate and assess suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements with vendors to secure cost-effective and quality purchases.
• Draft, review, and manage contractual agreements with suppliers to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Monitor and track orders to guarantee timely delivery of goods is workable for the company.
• Coordinate with divisions to ensure material status, proper storage and inventory management.
• Review and assess the quality of purchased products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Enter detailed order information accurately into internal databases or procurement systems ERP. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on purchases, costs, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Conduct cost analyses and provide insights for decision-making purposes to managers.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to stay updated on market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
• Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Requirements:
• 3 years of proven work experience in a Purchasing Officer or similar role.
• Skills: Observation, Analysis, Inference, Communication and Problem-solving.
• Proficiency in market research techniques and procurement software/tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
