Key Responsibilities:

  • Investor Account Management: Approve investor trading accounts, including opening, closing (eKYC/KYC), and updating information in TA/DA systems.
  • Transaction Oversight: Review and approve daily transactions
  • System Configuration: Set up, modify, and terminate DA, pension schemes, and fee/tax calculation rules in the TA system as required.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine existing TA processes to align with industry best practices.
  • Project Participation: Engage in the development and implementation of TA/TPA (Third Party Administration) systems and trading portals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports for management, including account activity and fund position summaries.
  • Stakeholder Management: Address queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding TA matters promptly and professionally.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on TA software, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Activities:

  • System Testing & Operational Initiatives: Participate in system testing and contribute to various operational initiatives across the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with business partners, including VSDC, Custodian Banks, and third-party distribution agents.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or team lead role in transfer agent, distribution agent, fund operations, or accounting.

Skills:

  • Expertise in transfer agent, fund operations, data processing, and financial systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related software.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • In-depth knowledge of securities regulations.
  • Experience with Python or VBA macros is an advantage.
  • Completion of one or more SSC certifications: Basic Securities, Investment and Analysis, Securities Laws, Brokerage and Advisory.
