As a Service Engineer at our Machinery and Solutions company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless installation, operation, and maintenance of our cutting-edge machinery. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer support, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering comprehensive training to clients. Additionally, you will oversee service and parts management to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Machine Tool Installation and Commissioning:
- Execute installation procedures for various machine tools in accordance with company standards and client specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any installation challenges and ensure timely project completion.
- Provide on-site technical support to customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems through systematic troubleshooting methodologies.
- Offer comprehensive solutions to enhance machine performance and minimize downtime, ensuring maximum productivity for clients.
- Develop and conduct training programs for customers on machinery operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Equip clients with the necessary skills and knowledge to optimize the utilization of our products and minimize operational disruptions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine technology and industry best practices to deliver relevant and impactful training sessions.
- Coordinate service schedules, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, to meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels to support service operations.
- Streamline service processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in parts management and service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
- Proven experience as field service engineer with more than 5 years of machine tool manufacturing experience
- Be able to communicate well in English
- Willingness to travel frequently
