Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Quality Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive supplier quality strategies to ensure components and materials meet or exceed company standards.

Lead the evaluation, selection, and qualification of new suppliers, ensuring they have robust quality management systems in place.

Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to monitor performance and drive corrective actions for non-compliance issues.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure electronic materials meet company quality standards and specifications.

Develop and implement supplier quality management systems, including supplier audits, evaluations, and certification processes.

Monitor and track supplier quality performance, and conduct regular data analysis and reporting.

Address supplier quality issues, work with suppliers on problem analysis and root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in the development and evaluation of new suppliers to ensure their quality systems and production capabilities meet requirements.

Conduct regular on-site audits and inspections of suppliers to ensure the effectiveness of their production processes and quality control measures.

Work closely with internal teams (such as R&D, production, procurement, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement in supplier quality to meet project requirements.

Provide quality-related technical support and guidance in new product development projects.

Assist in developing and updating quality standards, inspection specifications, and testing methods.

Lead the validation and approval of SPCN (Supplier Process Change Notification).

Participate in the validation and approval of 2nd source suppliers.
Component Engineering Integration:

Collaborate with the Component Engineering team to ensure that supplier components meet design specifications and functional requirements.

Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers on component design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

Facilitate the resolution of technical issues related to component quality, working closely with engineering and production teams.

Quality Improvement Initiatives:

Identify and implement quality improvement projects to enhance supplier performance and reduce quality-related costs.

Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.

Utilize data analytics and statistical tools to monitor and improve supplier quality metrics.
Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications:

Education:
o
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Component Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field).
o
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant field is a plus.

Language: Chinese AND English (need both good communication)

Experience:
o
Minimum of 8 years of experience in supplier quality management, with a strong background in Component Engineering.
o
Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and driving quality improvements.
o
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics, automotive, or related industries.

Skills and Competencies:
o
Deep understanding of component design, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
o
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, etc.).and related tools (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
o
Proficiency in statistical tools and data analysis techniques.
o
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of independently handling complex quality issues.
o
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
o
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different departments.
o
Ability to travel as needed to visit suppliers and other company locations.
