Overview: A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a motivated Grade 6 Structural Engineer to join its structural team based in Ho Chi Minh City. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Take overall responsibility and accountability for multiple teams or an entire discipline. May directly manage projects depending on size and complexity. 

  • Assign projects to Lead Engineers and monitor progress through regular review of status reports. 

  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training to teams across disciplines. 

  • Ensure compliance with local Quality Assurance procedures. 

  • Monitor and report on project progress, resource allocation, and financial status. 

  • Support the Group Leader in managing project finances, including resource planning and aligning fee structures. 

  • Assist in securing new business and fostering repeat client engagements. 

  • Contribute to the development of best practices through involvement in skills networks. 

  • Liaise with Project Managers, technical teams, clients, consultants, and contractors. 

  • Ensure clear understanding of client needs and project requirements through effective communication with all stakeholders. 

Requirements: 

  • Licensed Grade 1 Structural Engineer. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage. 

  • 12+ years of experience in structural engineering, with strong exposure to high-rise and industrial facility design, and managing multidisciplinary projects. 

  • Proficient in structural analysis and seismic design software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 

  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities; effective time and stress management. 

  • Strong team player with the ability to engage confidently with clients and external partners.
