Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager/Leader will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, personnel, and workflow. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and will be responsible for optimizing warehouse functionality, adhering to safety standards, and leading a team to meet production and distribution goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Operations Management:
    • Plan and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of goods.
    • Implement and monitor warehouse processes to ensure productivity and accuracy.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Optimize inventory storage to maximize space and improve retrieval efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, including shift leaders, pickers, and stockers.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and set goals for team members.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and establish best practices for safe warehouse operations.
    • Conduct safety training and maintain clear records of safety incidents and resolutions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) and other technology to streamline operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with overall manufacturing goals.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and transportation partners.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
    • Use data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
