Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze water supply systems, including water treatment plants, reservoirs, pumping stations, and distribution networks, using advanced engineering software and methodologies.
- Analyze data related to water quality, flow rates, and environmental impact to support engineering decisions.
- Work on the engineering design of water plants with civil mechanical and other technical aspects.
- Utilize software tools for hydraulic modeling and simulation.
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations related to water quality and environmental impact.
- Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory approvals.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in water resources engineering, including design and construction of water treatment plants and related infrastructure.
- Proficient in the use of engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of water quality standards, environmental regulations, and public health guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
