BUSINESS PARTNER FINANCE APAC

Responsibilities:
  • Business Partnering:
  • To act as a key interface between Finance and other Departments
  • Sign off and supply correct information for internal and external publication, for which accuracy and auditability are keys
  • Operate a Finance onboarding process for new delivery partners to ensure that adequate data provision is in place and operational records are kept
  • Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Provide strategic financial and business planning advice. Contribute to the development of efficient, effective and business focus accounting management and reporting processes.
  • Ensure all statutory accounts, returns and group reporting are accurate and meet legislative timelines and requirements.
  • Assist leadership team on all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit, PVN/IRR calculations, payback and breakeven analysis and forecasting needs.
  • Preparation and submission of Annual Budget, Forecasts, Long Range Plans and Monthly Operating Reviews within set deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization and meet organizational, legal, FCPA (foreign corrupt practices act), fiscal and internal control requirement.
  • Ensure financial & accounting policies and procedures are communicated and followed within the business, ensure all HQ Parent policies are followed and/or Exceptions are submitted and approved.
  • Identify risks, assign resources to address issues and monitor progress.
  • Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring audit issues are resolved and in compliance with applicable regulation.
  • Prepare company financial statements monthly and annually, as needed.
  • Assess company spendings and work to reduce costs.
  • Maintain and manage investors and client relationships.
  • Create and Present Monthly Management reporting for both Vietnam and HQ teams.
  • Knowledgeable with Intercompany transactions and resolution
  • Reporting
  • Develop and maintain overall accounting policies, processes, reporting and controls and work with Managing Director and staff to implement and monitor.
  • Establish and manage Vietnam's annual operating budget and forecasting timing and process. Monitor and ensure the achievement of the agreed plans.
  • Ad hoc reporting to support business needs and oversee preparation, consolidation and interpretation of financial reports and monthly management reporting to be used by Vietnam's leadership.
  • Oversee balance sheet and manage cash flow to maximize working capital.
  • Oversee the maintenance of and the accounting of all fixed assets.
  • Direct, JV, Acquisition financial analysis and process control
  • Tax and compliance
  • Fulfilment of local tax and commercial law requirements
  • Establishes the interface to the auditor
Requirements:
•    University graduate with major in Finance and Accounting
•    Minimum of 3 years in a similar role in manufacturing enviroment (at least 6 years of total experience)
•    Good knowledge in IFRS, VAS and tax/commercial regulations
•    Broad understanding of business functions and accounting systems
•    Strong influencing skills.
•    Fluent Vietnamese & English speaking & writing
