Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operational management and strategic development of the assembly department
- Planning, securing, and monitoring the use of resources and budget for new production capacities in coordination with the Headquarter
- Disciplinary management of employees and managers in production and overseeing their consistent further training and development
- Development and implementation of strategic concepts for the continual optimisation and digitalisation of production processes coordination with the Headquarter
- Coordination of measures and projects in close cooperation with the supporting departments
- Responsible for the quality of the assembled parts
- Advancing the continual improvement of assembly processes
- Stand in for the team leader of the assembly department during their absence.
- Stand in for the planner/operative procurer during their absence
Requirements:
- Relevant experience of a management role in an assembly department
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics
- Practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, CIP or KAIZEN concepts
- Experience of organising and control of complex processes
- Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
- Assertiveness, effective communication skills, and ability to bring teams together
