Today, ManpowerGroup, the global workforce solutions company announced ManpowerGroup Vietnam Ready-for-Work Program 2019 – 2020, with the purpose on providing meaningful paid internship to businesses and to address skilled workforce shortage in Vietnam.

ManpowerGroup Vietnam recognized this constant demand for interns during the implementation of staffing and outsourcing services for businesses. The industries with most internship demand include e-commerce, FMCG, Mechanics, Electronics and F&B.

Ms. Le Thi Kim, Head of Staffing and Outsourcing services, North, ManpowerGroup Vietnam shared: “Our mission is to evaluate the intern needs of both businesses as well as training institutions and match their criteria to build strong internship programs that meet the expectations. We expect ManpowerGroup Vietnam’s Ready-For-Work Program to connect more than 2,000 interns to businesses in Vietnam in 2019 – 2020”

With the launch of ManpowerGroup Vietnam Ready-For-Work Program, we aim to provide Vietnamese students with practical training for their future work. Thereby, they can assess themselves to explore the skills that matches to related job requirements after graduation. Early exposure to highly demanding and taxing working environment shall help students to be well prepared mentally, physically and sharpen their problem-solving skills. Besides, ManpowerGroup Vietnam also provides students with in-depth advice on career orientation and strengthening their soft skills such as interview, self-assessment, analytical skills etc.

“Today’s training institutions are increasingly aware of equipping skills and creating real job opportunities for students prior to their graduation. Since early 2017, via our program, enterprises have successfully connected with many qualified students and signed the employment contracts with them immediately after their graduation.” Ms. Le Thi Kim shared.

ManpowerGroup Vietnam also announced today its new recruitment website - Manpower.com.vn, designed for an easy-to-apply interface including English and Vietnamese versions, with the ultimate objective on thousands of meaningful job opportunities to the workforce in Vietnam.
