ManpowerGroup Vietnam and International Partners Shared Best Practices to Attract Talent on Digital Platforms

​Ho Chi Minh City, 14 July, 2020 – Today, ManpowerGroup Vietnam organized “Best Practices to Attract Talent on Digital Platforms” webinar with the purpose of sharing technology embrace and best recruitment practices to attract talent to organizations. The webinar welcomed leading HR and Media experts from Shopee & AirPay, Mondelez International, Jabil, LinkedIn as honored guest speakers as well as over 120 attendees from various industries.

Today technology is embedded in many aspects of the hiring circle. As a matter of fact, more and more candidates use technology to search and apply for jobs. Hence, to attract the right talent, employers should leverage technology to engage candidates, build talent communities and interview prospects.

According to “Siri, Find Me a New Job” research, ManpowerGroup has identified a new group of candidates known as Early HR Technology Adopters (*). The research also indicated that 31% of candidates have clicked on a job-related social media ad while 73% of Early HR Tech Adopters click on social media ads. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong, Country HR Manager, ManpowerGroup Vietnam said “Matching technology to candidates is key. The Early HR Adopters represent a new generation of candidates in the digital age who opt for social media ads instead of traditional ones. Understanding candidates’ traits is indispensable to attract the right talent to organizations. HR technologies can also provide organizations with data and analytics that enable them to improve recruitment strategies.”

Agreeing on this perspective, Ms Radhika Shankar, Senior Media Solutions Manager APAC at LinkedIn, shared “It’s important to understand candidates’ intent and how content can help employers start conversations and build trust with relevant audiences on social media channels, such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc.” By using their publishing capabilities, employers can amplify their voice, personal brand and professional expertise, which is very important to attract in-demand talent in the digital age flooded with information.

The webinar also highlighted how employer branding and best recruitment practice play important roles in attracting right talent for organizations via insightful sharing by leading HR experts from Shopee & AirPay, Mondelez International and Jabil.
