A new report from Jobs_that_makesense Asia and Manpower shows that about 1 in 10 (11%) of Vietnamese respondents, the lowest in the region, is “very satisfied” with the level of purpose in their current role. Moreover, when looking for a new job, 40% of Vietnam respondents have identified salary and job stability as their top priorities.
And one-third of the respondents place a high value on career advancement and personal growth. Significantly, the pursuit of a high salary is not driven by the quest for material wealth but rather by the aim to provide comfort and security for one’s family.
