Manpower Vietnam has consistently been dedicated to strengthening Vietnam’s workforce through upskilling, reskilling, and meaningful career development for years. As an HR knowledge partner at the FTU2 Career Fair 2025 in April, hosted by Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, we reinforced this commitment—not just by providing career boost activities, but by offering lasting, high-impact support to students as they navigate their career paths.

Winning over potential employers in interviews
A job interview is a crucial opportunity for candidates to showcase their skills, experience, and cultural fit. However, many job seekers struggle to make the most of this moment. That’s why the Mock Interview activity at the FTU2 Career Fair 2025 drew significant attention, attracting students from a wide range of majors eager to gain practical experience and boost their confidence. This activity gave them the chance to experience realistic interview scenarios with professional recruiters from Manpower Vietnam.
Under expert guidance, students learned how to prepare effectively, tackle difficult questions, ask thoughtful questions to employers, and follow up after an interview. The personalized feedback they received helped sharpen their interview skills—an essential step in launching their careers.
Empowering Through Personalized Guidance
With today’s expanding career landscape – including the rise of green jobs, gig work, and non-traditional roles – students and young job seekers can easily feel overwhelmed or directionless. This is where career orientation and consultation step in, offering personalized guidance to help them understand their strengths, explore emerging opportunities, and make informed decisions. Heading down the wrong career path can negatively affect one’s finances and overall quality of life – Gen-Zers were among the most likely (52%) to say they experienced high levels of workplace stress on a daily basis.
During the 1-on-1 Career Counseling activity, FTU2 students had the opportunity to discuss their career aspirations with experienced recruitment consultants from Manpower Vietnam. With deep industry knowledge, the consultants helped students explore viable career paths and identify practical steps to achieve their goals. Through this personalized guidance, we aim to support young professionals in building clear, meaningful, and future-ready career journeys.
Towards a More Sustainable Workforce
According to a ManpowerGroup’s 2025 Global Insights Report, global Gen-Zers’ current lives as “corporate Zoomers” are a mixed proposition. Gen Z workers were the most likely (47%) of all age groups to say they will voluntarily leave their current roles in the next six months, but were also the least confident they could find a new job that meets their needs.
With initiatives like the FTU2 Career Fair 2025, Manpower Vietnam strives to equip young talent with the clarity, confidence, and connections they need to navigate today’s evolving job market and build sustainable, fulfilling careers. Because a sustainable workforce is the catalyst for long-term growth and inclusive progress.
