On 1st October 2021, ManpowerGroup Vietnam partnered with the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham) to organize the webinar “Building a Resilient Organization with a Coaching Culture”. The event is aimed at sharing the importance of coaching culture in an organization and how it can support them in building resilience to be successful in the pandemic. The webinar, moderated by Ms. Linh Thai, CEO/ Founder, TVL Group, saw the participation of nearly 150 business leaders and HR professionals working in various sectors.
Mr. Bao Nguyen, Leadership & Team Coach, ManpowerGroup Vietnam started the workshop with insights of the pandemic’s impacts on employees and the importance of resilience. The highlight of the event is the expert’s sharing on how to apply coaching as an inside out approach to build resilience for workers as well the building blocks of a strong coaching culture.
In the second half of the workshop, the panelists discussed the stories of coaching implementation and building resilience for employees in their organizations. As shared by Dr. Tran Huu Duc (PhD), Psychotherapist, by September 2021, about 80% Vietnamese get stressed out frequently as compared to the ratio of pre-Covid-19 at only 15%. Meanwhile, Ms. Ellie Huong Bui, HRBP Director, Hitachi Vantara Vietnam & Japan highlighted the increasingly important role of leaders in the coaching journey. “They need to fuel their employees with inspiration and peaceful energy, make them feel secure and as a result, be open to learning and change”, she said.
