Our client, a rapidly expanding company specializing in agricultural products, is looking for Business Development Director.
Key Responsibilities:'
1. Developing Business Strategy
- Conduct market research and analysis, including industry trends, customer demand, and competitive factors, to build an effective business strategy.
- Develop an overall business strategy with short-term and long-term goals to ensure production and sales targets align with the company's leadership direction.
- Develop and implement sales channel expansion plans for the company’s products, including:
- Alcoholic Beverages, Functional Foods, and Health Supplements: Expanding retail markets, distributor and agency networks, and e-commerce channels.
- Processed Fruit Products (Puree/Concentrates): Focusing on domestic and international B2B markets.
- Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with existing customers and potential business partners.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to enhance brand image and expand business opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and develop a professional and dynamic sales team capable of executing the business strategy.
- Establish a KPI system for each team member and monitor performance to ensure business objectives are met.
- Track and analyze business data to provide recommendations for improving operational efficiency.
- Regularly report business performance and key metrics to the Deputy General Director, General Director, and Chairman.
- Ensure that the export process complies with all legal and international standards.
- Collaborate closely with relevant departments (R&D, Production, Quality Control, Logistics, etc.) to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the export chain.
- Monitor and update export regulations and requirements to ensure smooth and efficient export operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- At least 8 years of experience in the processed fruit industry (puree/concentrates) in both domestic and international markets, with a proven track record of success.
- Extensive network in the B2B food industry, including major partners both locally and internationally.
- Experience and knowledge in retail channels, distribution networks, and e-commerce.
- Proficient in English; Chinese is a plus. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experienced in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
