Business Development Director will drive new business growth to expand market share, achieve sales targets, and boost revenue while optimizing budget use, enhancing customer service quality, and aligning efforts with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of project opportunities to meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets.
- Identify and onboard new customer accounts by showcasing the company’s capabilities and tailored service offerings.
- Cultivate strong internal and external relationships to support business growth and collaboration.
- Develop and execute a marketing plan, including client-specific strategies and branding initiatives to elevate company visibility in target markets.
- Prepare compelling proposals and negotiate contracts in compliance with legal, regulatory, and risk management frameworks.
- Analyze client needs and market trends to craft winning proposals that secure projects.
- Provide exceptional after-sales support, addressing client feedback and resolving issues promptly.
- Deliver regular progress reports on marketing plans and account management to senior leadership.
- Organize client events and foster networking opportunities to strengthen relationships internally and externally.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the company to support business objectives.
- Experience: At least 8 years of strong B2B sales experience, with a track record of expertise in renewable energy, solar rooftop investment & development or project-based sales.
- Skills: Proven sales acumen, deep market knowledge, and excellent analytical and teamwork abilities.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis to meet clients.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Language: Strong command of English (written and verbal).
