Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Business Growth:

  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the rooftop solar sector.
  3. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging trends in renewable energy.
  4. Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
  5. Sales & Relationship Management:

  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  7. Manage the entire sales process, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
  8. Provide ongoing support and account management for existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  9. Partnership Development:

  10. Collaborate with local and international partners to create new business opportunities.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, government bodies, and regulatory agencies.
  12. Financial Analysis & Proposal Preparation:

  13. Prepare and present detailed financial proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and return-on-investment reports for potential customers.
  14. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and financing solutions tailored to client needs.
  15. Team Collaboration:

  16. Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  17. Coordinate with legal and finance teams to finalize competitive contracts and policies.
  18. Compliance & Reporting:

  19. Ensure compliance with local regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
  20. Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the rooftop solar market, including technical, financial, and regulatory aspects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and create compelling business proposals.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and other sales-related software.
