Role & Responsibilities:

The role is to help take the company on a hyper growth path in the next 1-3 years. The role will require strong origination and B2B sales closing skills. The target customers are corporate and industrial (C&I) companies, with facilities primarily in the north of Vietnam. The candidate should be structured and wellorganized in both internal reporting and client interactions. The Business Development (BD) Manager is expected to deliver the following:
  • Work with the Business Development Director and executive team on sales strategy to cover the Japanese Commercial and Industrial (C&I) market
  • Prepare and present proposals with the support of the engineering and commercial team members
  • Assist as required in preparation of the EPC bid management and offer
  • Gather information from prospective customers to identify their needs.
  • Analyze marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities
  • Organize business development workshops/ meetings with prospective clients
  • Communicate customers’ feedback with BD Director and suggest ways to address clients’ needs
  • Assist to provide regular sales pipeline updates to senior management
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
  • Ability to travel frequently

Experience:

Must-have:
  • Proven 3-5 sales/ business development track record in B2B sales
  • Strong sales closing attitude and experience
  • Strong commercial skills and understanding
  • Strong skills in preparing presentations and MS Office
  • Good existing network and origination in Vietnam
  • Willingness to learn more about the business from the team and enhance technical and finance knowledge
  • Fluent in English/ Vietnamese

Good to have (not essential):
  • Knowledge of Vietnam solar policy and history of engaging with MOIT and EVN
  • Ability to communicate in other languages (Chinese, Korean or Japanese)

Compensation:
  • Fixed: Compensation would be at market rates, depending on the candidate profile and experience
  • Annual bonus based on individual and company’s performance
