Company is the world leader in the supply of integrated urban mobility systems. Company as leader of a consortium with Colas Rail and Thales, is working on a contract with Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) to supply a metro system for Hanoi metro line 3. This is the first integrated metro system contract for Company in Vietnam.

We are looking for Country HR Manager/HRBP who will lead and initiate people strategy and operations in Vietnam partnering with business leaders (project director and managing director) and with people managers.

In this role, you will oversee and ensure the operations in full spectrum of human resources activities from recruitment, staffing planning, performance management, reward and people development inclusively for expatriates and local employees as HR Business Partner. You will report to Regional HR Head based in Hong Kong. You would be tactical and hands-on at the same time interfacing all levels of employees, HR CoE and overseas HR for expatriation management.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Lead people strategy and operations up to implementation as Country HR Leader

  • Partnering closely with the business leaders and people managers for staffing plan, people management cycle (performance review, reward, people review…), learning & development in line with Company internal guideline and external requirement

  • Focal point of contact for all level of employees in Vietnam organization

  • Ensure the statutory requirement in HR operation and manage internal & external audit

  • Govern and develop internal HR policy, program & procedure

  • Basic but profound understanding in payroll, tax, social security to oversee outsourced vendors

  • Collaborate with diverse HRBP/HR CoE in the region, expatriation coordination center, overseas HR for expatriation management

  • Able to mitigate a conflict and to propose a solution

  • Anticipate potential risk and opportunities in people agenda and explore the improvement area

  • Initiate small but creative actions in company values: diversity & inclusion, employer branding…

  • Supervise HR Officer to ensure daily and administrative tasks

 What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • 8-12 year experience as Human Resources Generalist in multinational company (European, US…)

  • HR experience from industrial & engineering industry (and matrix organization) will be a plus

  • Knowledgeable in Vietnam Labor law to ensure the compliant HR operation

  • Agile, Inclusive, Responsible

  • Organized, prioritized, efficient communication & reporting skill, willing to learn

  • Professional with customer-oriented mindset

  • Autonomous with ability to lead the country organization (size 80-100 employees)
