Position Overview:
The Country Manager will lead and develop a newly established Company operations in Vietnam, driving growth, profitability, and brand positioning. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, ensuring that company's solutions are effectively promoted, distributed, and adopted within the agricultural sector. The position reports to the Managing Director of Asia & Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Define and execute market development and growth strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in agriculture, horticulture, and related sectors.
- Develop partnerships with distributors, cooperatives, farmers, and governmental agencies.
Sales & Marketing:
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the country.
- Implement marketing initiatives and product promotion plans.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine strategy.
Operational Management:
- Oversee supply chain coordination, local logistics, and product availability.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, including agricultural, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, farmers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support, after-sales service, and agronomic consulting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in agricultural inputs (fertilizers, crop protection, seeds) with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in market development and B2B sales within the agriculture sector.
- Strong understanding of crop nutrition and modern farming practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Additional certification in sales/marketing or international business.
· Experience working with multinational companies or distributors in the fertilizer industry.
· Familiarity with precision agriculture tools and sustainability practices
