Key Responsibilities
1. Develops vision and business plan for the Dealer, which reflects the Company growth plan for the local market area, direction from own Dealer group (if appropriate) and own purpose/vision for the business.
2. Communicates the vision to Dealer staff with authenticity, clarity and passion to build their engagement with the plan for the future.
3. Role models the Customer First Principles in all dealings with customers and staff and sets high standards of behavior and ethics for the Dealer.
4. Demonstrates a personal leadership style which builds the engagement and trust of the whole Dealer team.
5. Leads communication for the full Dealer team to share ‘big picture’ information on Dealer business performance, vision for the future and the products and services
MANAGES PERFORMANCE
6. Maintains a good understanding of the automotive sector in the local Market, particularly premium competitors in the local area.
7. Supports own first line team (e.g. Sales Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Accountant) to develop detailed short and medium term plans for each area to deliver the wider vision for the Dealer.
8. Uses an understanding of the brands and full product range (e.g. Approved, Warranty, Gear, SVO) and key tools (e.g. CEIP website, Global Retailer Marketing System) to lead the business.
9. Empowers and supports own first line team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve the Targets for the Dealer.
10. Uses detailed sales, service and parts performance data to understand current performance and support individual managers to make improvements.
11. Coaches individual members of the first line team to develop their ability to manage their team and the performance of their area.
12. Ensures that the Dealer is operating in accordance with the key Modern Luxury standard and Company’s process and achieving its statutory, environmental and health and safety responsibilities
DEVELOP THE TEAM
13. Manages the day-to-day performance and development of own first line team, provides feedback to help individuals improve and manages any underperformance.
14. Propose manpower plan for Dealer and manages their induction into the Dealer.
15. Coaches individual mangers to support their development and ensures that they complete the Learner Journey provided by Head team for their role.
16. Works with the first line team to attract new talent to the wider Dealer, manage succession into key roles and improve team working across the business.
DRIVES CHANGE AND CORPORATE CULTURE
17. Takes a proactive approach to identify any recurring problems which affect the customer experience. Leads or supports projects to deliver continuous improvement to ways of working.
18. Leads & Develops the Company’s culture.
19. Works with the first line team to plan change projects to deliver successful implementation whilst also maintaining staff engagement and motivation.
20. Works with Importer to review the performance of the Dealer and understand opportunities to improve the performance.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENT
• Graduated university or higher
• At least 5 years of experience as a Dealer Principal in luxury retail Car as well as demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding the dealer objectives
• Good knowledge and understanding of local automobile industry
• Excellent Leadership, Management, Influence and Motivation, Planning and Customer service Skills
• Good at English

• Driving license
