Job Summary

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

A. Achieving Business Objectives:

  • Budget & Productivity: Assign sales budgets and targets, develop strategic plans to meet objectives, and proactively identify risks with contingency strategies.
  • Volume Targets: Oversee volume targets, leveraging both internal and external data to align with country goals. Coordinate demand forecasts and long-term projections.
  • Strategic Planning: Shape customer and channel strategies, building relationships with key distributors and developing strategic sales and 5-year plans.

B. Distribution & Coverage:

  • Distribution Reach: Optimize coverage within target channels, setting goals for daily call and effective call rates.
  • Availability & Performance Metrics: Ensure product availability in all channels, achieving key results areas (KRAs) per target.
  • Distribution Model Development: Implement a suitable distribution model as needed.
  • Customer Service: Align sales forecasts with customer and supply chain activities to streamline the process.

C. Sales & Channel Development:

  • Sales Strategies: Design strategies to boost sales across designated channels.
  • Program Execution: Drive promotional activities and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct analysis of promotions to understand competitor activity, working with trade marketing for optimized outcomes.

D. Portfolio Expansion & New Product Development (NPD):

  • Input for Portfolio Growth: Support portfolio expansion through insights.
  • NPD Execution: Lead pre-launch and launch activities of new products in key categories.

E. Geographic Expansion:

  • Strategic Expansion: Identify growth opportunities in new regions, particularly North and Central provinces.
  • Program Implementation: Launch effective programs to expedite market presence in new locations.

F. Organizational Development:

  • Training & Development: Provide input on training curricula and career pathing, assisting in succession planning.
  • Recruitment & Talent Development: Participate in hiring, maintain a talent pipeline, and support a high-performance culture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in pharmaceutical sales and distribution.
  • Skills: Excellent English, communication, presentation, industry knowledge, training, and time management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Competencies: Strong customer collaboration, CRM expertise, and talent development focus.
