A. RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. General Management:

    • Based on the functions and tasks of the Group and the strategic direction assigned by the Board of Directors, conduct research and propose the organizational structure and management processes for the Planning Department.
    • Determine objectives, develop and manage the implementation of the Planning Department's activities in line with the Group's strategy and business plan.
    • Develop job descriptions and standards related to planning and control activities to serve as a basis for recruitment, appointment, evaluation, training, and development of employees.
    • Organize work assignments, evaluate employee performance, train, motivate, and develop staff.
    • Train and develop planning management professionals for the entire supply chain.
    • Manage and control the use of resources such as relationships, assets, tools, finances, and information system accounts to perform the department's tasks.
    • Manage operations and costs in accordance with the assigned budget.
    • Manage processes, evaluation standards, and skill standards for planning management activities.
    • Manage databases for planning management.
    • Organize the procurement of goods and services for operational needs according to delegated authority.
    • Provide specialized reports and analyses to the Board of Directors, business units, subsidiaries, and related departments.
    • Measure and evaluate the results and effectiveness of planning activities in the department, business units, subsidiaries, and the entire Group.
    • Evaluate performance and effectiveness of professional activities, oversee and implement improvements to enhance work efficiency in the department, business units, and subsidiaries.
  2. Managing Medium-Term Business Plans:
    a) Developing Medium-Term Business Plans:

    • Manage the development of the Group's medium-term business plan, propose, organize meetings with the executive board, and compile the medium-term business plan documents.

      • Define business areas, vision, and mission of the company
      • Identify strategic objectives

    b) Measuring Medium-Term Business Plans:

    • Monitor the implementation of the medium-term business plan, measure deviations from objectives, and assess the effectiveness and alignment of the strategy.
      • Initiate reports

      • Prioritize root causes for correction
      • Develop corrective actions
      • Approve plans and implement improvements
  3. Managing Annual Business Plans:
    a) Developing Annual Business Plans:

    • Manage the development of the annual business plan, including self-analysis and coordination of units according to the S&OP process.
      • Initiate planning process
      • Coordinate, monitor, and promote implementation
      • Collect data
      • Analyze data
      • Propose business objectives and directions
      • Develop sales forecasts
      • Determine product demand
      • Identify resources and capacity to meet demand
      • Balance resources and product demand
      • Evaluate financial impact and business results
      • Approve and issue business objectives and directions
      • Implement budget planning
      • Prepare projected financial reports
      • Implement operational and resource planning
      • Review KPI proposals from units
      • Compile business plans and KPIs
      • Issue business plans and KPIs

    b) Managing Annual Business Plan Results:

    • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of plan implementation and provide appropriate warnings.
      • Collect report data
      • Analyze reports
      • Identify prioritized deviations for root cause analysis
      • Identify root causes
      • Prioritize root causes for correction
      • Develop corrective actions
      • Approve plans and implement improvements
  4. Developing Supply Chain Network Models:

    • Describe the planning process and build potential scenarios for supply chain operations, proposing options to develop the supply chain.
      • Select planning scope

      • Build scenarios
      • Model/simulate scenarios
      • Predict impacts
      • Select and approve
      • Develop and implement change programs
  5. Reporting:

    • Report on task performance, strategic analysis, and business results as required by the Board of Directors.
  6. Other Duties:

    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the responsible CEO.

B. AUTHORITIES:

  • Organize, mobilize, and assign staff within the Planning Department to perform assigned tasks.
  • Access operational data from databases and information systems of units and functional departments to support planning-related activities.
  • Propose salaries, bonuses, policies; recommend disciplinary actions for employees in the Planning Department.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for the Planning Department.
  • Execute other authorities as delegated by the Board of Directors.
