Legal Advisor - tasked with delivering timely and strong legal counsel and assistance on business operations to help achieve commercial and corporate goals while mitigating legal risks. Ensures legal solutions for operational issues are aligned with the Company’s commercial needs and strategies.
I. MAIN DUTIES:
- Provide comprehensive legal expertise and support on issues related to the Company's functions, structures, and activities.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts including those for commercial, procurement, supply chain, and distribution.
- Manage potential disputes and collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Monitor and report on compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including personal data protection.
- Assist in drafting policies, guidelines, legal templates, and other documents.
- Raise awareness about Legal's role in business support and the associated risks, and prepare and deliver legal training to ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal regulations.
- Support the harmonization of policies and processes.
- Liaise with state agencies as needed.
- Perform other duties related to local laws or organizational directives as required.
- Some ad-hoc projects.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Laws Degree
- Admission to the Vietnam bar is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in FDI company and usually work with regional team
- Fluent professional working English - 4 skills
- Open minded, willingness to learn, adaptable to changing demands and past-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & negotiation skill with proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Positive, hardworking, highly motivated with strong ethical standards.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skill
- Strong technical expertise in commercial and practical approach.
