KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead financial operations for the end-to-end revenue cycle directing the accurate and timely recording of revenue and receivables, including:
o Managing tuition invoicing to students/families.
o Ensuring accurate reporting and application of deposits and payments.
o Managing the reconciliation and amortization of deferred revenue.
o Applying credits; calculating and issuing refunds as necessary.
o Development and maintenance of policies and procedures for pricing, tuition, billing, refunds, transfers, credits, etc.
o Providing service to internal and external customers relating to billing.
• Coach, mentor and develop the Accounting Associate.
• Manage agent commissions, including reconciliation and amortization.
• Manage partner school tuition payments, including reconciliation and amortization.
• Assist in the preparation and development of strategic revenue plans and long-term
forecasts related to revenue cycle.
• Suggest and assist in implementing improvements to current accounting processes
and/or controls, including automation and streamlining of existing billing and commission
functions.
• Participate and coordinate responses to annual audit and tax requirements.
• Stay informed of and advise on accounting pronouncements relative to the company.
• Participate in other projects and/or assignments as requested by management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have strong understanding of basic accounting principles/GAAP standards.
• Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited 4-Year University. CA/CPA is a plus.
• Public accounting or related experience preferred.
• Prior experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be a highly motivated individual, a self-starter with a high level of initiative and an
attitude of willingness.
• Must be a team player, willing to assist others at all levels of the organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team, within a vibrant and open office space.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and exercise strict confidentiality.
