Job Responsibilities:
Adaptability & Agility: Demonstrate an agile mindset, embracing change and actively listening to business objectives to align strategies.
Customer Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers through proactive networking and leveraging existing relationships within the broader enterprise.
Sales Strategy Support: Contribute to the deployment of company services by supporting the sales strategy within the ocean and freight business, ensuring revenue and margin/yield goals are met for assigned accounts.
Growth & Pricing Strategies: Lead sales growth initiatives and develop competitive pricing strategies, coordinating global customer-focused activities and strategies.
Customer Engagement: Engage with customers at a junior level to assess satisfaction, manage critical situations with at-risk accounts, and ensure a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across functional areas to develop solutions, proposals, and pricing models. Participate in sales calls to refine opportunities and develop value propositions for account closure.
Process Adherence: Utilize established processes and tools, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Provide weekly reporting on all accounts in stages for new business development. Reporting: Provide regular reporting on all accounts, tracking stages of new business development
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent preferred.
Previous sales experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge of ocean freight import process and selling solutions globally to customers of varying size and complexity.
Good communication and presentation skills to offer solutions to customer needs and resolve problems.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and employee relationships.
Proficient in strategic planning and sales management.
