Description & Principal Purpose:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer – Electronics develops, services, and grows the relationships with existing and potential Consumer Electronic customers in Vietnam. This role includes supporting and executing sales strategies, business development activities and working closely with our organizations abroad to serve multi-national companies with manufacturing sites in Vietnam. The Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer will contribute in the revenue growth of company.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical or any related discipline a must

Experience:           

  • Electrical / Mechanical Engineering related experience in the Electronics Industry 
  • 5 - 7 years of direct or indirect technical sales or sales support experience, preferably in the field of 3D software or hardware 
  • Exposure to the Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Industry
  • Exposure to Strategic Business development
  • International work/study advantageous

  • Presenting confidently & clearly
  • Good communication skills as well as command of spoken and written English 
  • Well versed at preparing technical documentation / presentations & presenting in front of audiences

  • Ability to work unsupervised, independently but also as a team
  • Willingness to travel      

RESPONSIBILITY:

Sales & Account Management – Electronics

  • Support and execute given sales strategies
  • Support and execute business development activities
  • Identify opportunities for growth
  • Work with the RSM/PSM/SDM & marketing to grow the sales funnel 
  • Visit customers frequently, both potential and existing customers (tracked through CRM follow up activities) 
  • Generate new leads & opportunities through networking & building relationships
  • Maximize win probability by applying the Sales Process & sales stages: Understand, Propose, Negotiate and Decide
  • Negotiate and win orders, involve support where needed (Application, PSM, SDM, RSM or PCM)
  • Ensure high standards of customer relationship management through Sales Process adoption & CRM diligence
  • Support and serve customers, even beyond the scope of sale’s responsibility. Be the account manager.
  • Work with other entities personnel to effectively serve multi-national Electronics companies
  • Support in exhibitions or workshops
  • Support order fulfillment e.g. open payments

Technical Capabilities and Application Knowledge

  • Stay up to date and trained on the newest applicable software and hardware
  • Understand key differences between the systems and how each would fit for specific applications
  • Maintain the ability to use technical and sales skills to clearly explain the benefits of applicable systems in all applicable scenarios
  • Understanding and spreading knowledge of all applicable Application Stories for the Consumer Electronics Industry

Market Feedback and Analysis

  • Provide market / territory / industry intelligence for strategy development & market mapping (strategic customers / key opinion leaders, industries, distributors & competitors)
  • Provide customer feedback and product requests to PSM/SDM
  • Keep updated and deliver reports on any changing local market conditions in the specific territory
  • Identify and implement new applications by doing customer analysis
  • Work with PSM/SDM to develop Application Stories for key applications at customer sites
  • Collect market data including the local competitive landscape for QA/QC within Consumer Electronics

  • Act as a ambassador & promote the brand
  • Support and serve customers, even beyond the scope of sale’s responsibility
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management team
