Senior Java Software Engineer
Requirements:
- Design, implement and maintain software components in complex, distributed systems.
- Work closely with other groups (QA, Tech Support) to effectively diagnose and resolve software defects.
- Participate in team collaborative design and code review activities.
- Prioritize tasks and communicate with senior management effort estimates and project status periodically.
Your Skills and Experience:
At least 5 years of working experience as a Software Engineer.
Proficient in Java and Java-EE related back-end technologies (Tomcat, OpenJDK, Apache, Spring Boot).
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, microservice architecture and design patterns, principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY, etc)
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex issues.
Familiarity with source control management tools such as Git.
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications in Java or related technologies are a plus.
Experience with database management systems and SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra is a plus
Knowledge of software development methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with .NET application development (WCF, ASP.NET) is a plus
Experience with Android SDK/application and Simulator
Experience with network protocols, TLS and SSL certificates is a plus.
Experience with Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, K8, Kafka is a plus.
