Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Delivery Lead and development squads to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and structured documentation, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, such as API specs, data models, and system architecture overviews.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions with stakeholders and development teams.
- Act as a liaison between offshore teams and Australian stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.
- Assist in UAT planning and coordination, ensuring that delivered features meet business expectations.
- Continuously improve documentation standards and delivery processes.
Your skills and experience
- From 5 - 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Proven ability to create high-quality documentation for both business and technical audiences.
- Experience working with technical teams, especially in Java-based environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, data structures, and system integration concepts.
- Prior experience engaging with Australian clients or similar markets.
